Eastside Ridge is committed to employing locally both during construction and continuing into operations.
Economic impact estimates have been drawn from a 2016 report provided by Miami Economic Associates, Inc.
The actual numbers will vary depending on what is built.
The Site
Eastside Ridge is a 22 acre development located south of Palm Grove and to the corner of Buena Vista. Buffered by the railroad tracks to the East, Archbishop Curley-Notre Dame Middle-High School to the South, Miami Jewish Health Systems to the West and 54th Street to the North.
Residential
Eastside Ridge will house approximately 3,000 units of modestly priced rental apartments. Our goal is to help provide a vibrant, active community that those living on a teacher, nurse, police, construction, or other working class salary can afford. Our firm belief is that if you work in the city, you should be able to live in the city.

Shops / Restaurants
The Upper East Side will benefit from amenities, shops and restaurants all within walking distance. Not only will Eastside Ridge transform 54th Street into a vibrant, walkable area, welcoming to residents as well as the surrounding community, it will also create a lush, green, central park area filled with boutiques and cafes.
Office Space
With approximately 65,000 square feet of affordable office space built into the plan, Eastside Ridge will be a center for business and community enjoyment. Just as important as providing our teachers, police officers, first responders, and other such workers with rental options they can actually afford, Eastside Ridge is committed to providing the areas small business owners with office space that is also affordable.

Green
Eastside Ridge will be green. Nearly 20% of the 22 acre property will be committed to green space. A large park along NE 2nd Ave will be the first phase of this project, creating an immediate impact on the surrounding neighborhoods. Mature trees will be saved and some relocated to other areas of the property in order to ensure that, upon opening, our landscaping will be lush, mature and ecologically responsible. The ample open space is not the only way that Eastside Ridge will be green, though. All of the buildings will meet LEED standards, making Eastside Ridge one of the largest, green projects in South Florida.
Bike Paths
Not only will Eastside Ridge be completely walk-able, it will also be ride-able. Bike paths will meander throughout the site, allowing residents and neighbors to quickly move from point to point by bicycle, encouraging the use of foot or pedal power as opposed to internal combustion engines.

Transportation
As one of our goals to help intelligently develop in Miami, from the point Eastside Ridge was conceived, the possibility of a rail station was a key element. Our goal has always been to provide maximum access to and from the site – encouraging people to come, meet, work, live, play and enjoy. We are committed to working alongside other community leaders and provide the necessary resources to lead this initiative.
Hotels
In meeting with people from the surrounding neighborhoods, one of the things that was seen as a need was nice, affordable hotels. Eastside Ridge is committed to providing two. A full-service hotel and an extended stay hotel that offers competitive rates and a great, central location to Buena Vista, the Upper Eastside and surrounding neighborhoods.

Community / Cultural
Because the goal is for Eastside Ridge to be a lush, creative, center that will be fully integrated with the surrounding neighborhoods, Eastside Ridge is committed to dedicating ample space to area-centric art and culturally relevant initiatives. Even in the planning phases, we are actively engaged with community and cultural leaders who are helping to better define our space so that it is both beautiful and relevant to our community.
Traffic / Parking
Eastside Ridge wants to lead the effort in connectivity by creating a transit hub. The owners are committing their resources towards mass transportation on the site to make the area more accessible to the community.
